Multiple sources are reporting that Joe Perry collapsed onstage during the Hollywood Vampires’ concert at Brooklyn’s Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk.
According to sources, Perry exited the stage mid song, while the band continued to play their cover of Spirit’s “I Got a Line.” Footage taken at the gig shows Perry, sitting down, and struggling to perform, then ducking behind the amp stack. Various reports say the Aerosmith guitarist was rushed to the hospital. CBS New York says that he is in critical condition.

UPDATE: Various reports say that Perry’s condition has been upgraded to “stable.”
UPDATE: Alice Cooper has tweeted that Perry “is stable, with family and under the best care,” a sentiment echoed by Perry’s official twitter account. Aerosmith hasn’t made a statement, but they did retweet the message on Perry’s account. Matt Sorum also tweeted well wishes to his current bandmate.
